Immigrants in their own land
The title to me means is like prisoners being in a prison like people feelings different or being on their rag and not feel positive. In my opinion how it starts the tone of the story is positive because it all start with a person having a dream.

A bad dream of an essay
Many people get followed by there past throughout their future. The dream started badly. You were in line with your family at a store waiting to be sent to buy lots of clothes. Everywhere you looked there were posters of president-elect like Donald messed up hair Trump , looking like a crazy pig, who could eat a whole country like America.
What happens now and what we do now matters through the future. Everything we do now follows you. I'm the sound of thunder the author goes to the past and follows the person throughout its path. It takes the person back through where the dinosaurs existed and tells about the characters life and how it matters. I'm the story whenever a reader read you had to stay on track to tell how the story is told. A self reliance example of the story is that what you do now matters because it affects your future and what you're going to do. The choices we make now depend on how your life and your personality is going to be when ever you're older and in your future.

EMERSON'S CHILD
Based on my response I can see that many people can learn lots of new stuff and can tell the some things are true in life based on Emerson's story and quotes. The re reason I think this is because many people can relate some of the quotes or words with their characteristics and also relate it to other people's lives or what is going on in their life. These quotes can help someone because most of the quotes mean to be yourself and not try to be something else. Being yourself makes you most trustful and meaningful because you can tell that you only focus in you and not being someone else.
Most of Emerson quotes are to be yourself because it proves that you don't need anyone else to move on. I also think this because it probably means that you can do more stuff alone and that everything is possible with trying your best and working hard at it.

EMERSON PRESENTATIONS DAY 3
I like how presenters got quotes from other people and interrpreted it and compared with the Emerson quotes. Also liked how some presenters talked about Emersons background about his life.

MEMERSON PRESENTATIONS DAY 2
What I understood is that you don't have to be labeled the person because you're the person you are and people should be themselves not try to be someone or something else. Many people can be misunderstood. Liked how Leo's presentation was presented and how his voice was heard by everyone and not quiet.

EMERSON PRESENTATIONS DAY
Most of the Emerson quotes have to do with real life things that happen and have to do with problems or characteristics of other people in the world. Another thing I learned from the Emerson quotes is that being you probably the best you can do and talk to yourself whenever you need something. Some of the ideas I would take from is that these quotes can tell me what to do whenever I am in a bad situation or also give me ideas on what to do.
MY EMERSON
Thought of doing a poster and a drawing of Emerson where I tell what 2 quotes mean do me and what I think I under stand about his quotes.

EMERSON FOR THE YOUNG BUCK
I've learned many things from the Socratic seminar. For example on thing that I learned was that by speaking out or talking can help you confront your fears of not talking or having the experinence of talking out loud to other people. I've also learned that you can learn from other people's opinions and also learn new stuff that you never knew. Having a talk with more people then with just another person can bring more and better ideas and can help you find the answer that you are searching for the question you may have or what you do not know. A Socratic seminar is a conversation where you gather one idea in to many other ideas do make your mind more smart and expand ideas.

EMERSON SAID IT
A quote that came up on today's conversation was "Man with his own star" I think that it came up because it admired the person maybe because I think it means that you're yourself and that that make you a star because you're not like anyone else.

I'M SELF-RELLIENT
What I understood about the Emerson story is that he expresses using lots of quotes. He thinks that power is the best expression of how things in life work, that most people wait for people to react for whatever they want and hope it happens. There is a quote that says don't travel on road or get distracted and I think the cause is nature of the outside.

The presidential debate was aggravating the American people. Donald Trumps supporters are hypnotized by the things he says. He also accused Hilary for being a liar and he would put her in jail if he becomes president. His ideas will transform America to chaos. I think Donald Trump should be suspended from from the debate for not acting professional. The future with trump will be melancholy for the citizens. Meanwhile others are anticipating Hillary Clinton plans will be good for the country.

Literature analysis question #2
The Fallen by Paul Langan
1. The thing that drew me to this book is how the cover looked and it caught my attention. I expected this book to be interesting right away.
2. The thing that kept me reading this book is how organized the parts of the story was and how it was told in an organized way.
3. Some of my reading habits is reading books that are interesting and catch my attention not books that get boring towards the end of the story and the type of tone it is used.
1. The plot of this story was about a boy who's little brother was shot and then after wants to get revenge towards the person that shot his brother. But his mom tells him that the police will take care of it and to be patient because revenge only brings more problems and bad stuff.
2. I think the theme of the novel is action or aggressive because how they kill a person in a story shows that some of the characters show action.
3. The authors tone was sad in some parts and anxious because the part that he showed a sad tone was when a person was shot and anxious is another tone because the big brother wanted revenge really badly.

LETTER TO A MENTOR DRAFT
Dear physicist
I would like to ask you a question of how the world will be if time didn't exist. Also how everything will be scheduled and organized. How will people in the world know when it's the next day or the time that they should be doing something. Many or I mean all of the people on earth know what time or when they have to go to work or do something. But I wonder how they will know when to do that if time did not exist and all the watches and clocks stopped. I know gay my question can be answered by many other subjects like scientist but for now I want to ask you, the physicists to give me information or at least an idea about my big question today. I want to know how peoples reactions may be if time stopped.

Impression for "The Rights To Your opinion"
My impression for this topic was how everyone has rights and authority to do something but sometimes other people may not want to tell you what they are. Some people may not know their rights and are going through bad stuff because they don't know what to do. Learning your rights in life can help you a lot through out it. My opinion is that everyone has the authority to know their rights and the authorit to help make that right happen. My opinion is that everyone has the right to say what they want based on what opinion they have for that topic
Opinon for "Richard Cory" poem
Welcome to my blog !!! I am looking forward to meet new people while being able to use blogger. This is a way that I am going to do some of my homework assignments for my English class.
My impression for the "Richard Cory" poem was when the Richard Cory shot himself in the head. I am guessing he did it because he didn't have anyone and other people thought that he was happy because he was right and thought that money made him happy. Outside in the world he looked happy but when Richard Cory was alone he was probably lonely. This poem may show people that money isn't everything in life and doesn't make everyone happy. Many people that looked at him wanted to be like him but they did not know his background of how he was when he got home. What I admired about Richard Cory was how he talked to people when he went out.
